We never want to look like tourists in our own town, though we totally dig on touristy stuff. We have our spot staked out for Seafair, we’ll happily down a basket of Ivar’s clams, and yes, we have a soft-spot for Seattle-themed items.
But not just any items—clever ones—like this super cute Seattle Skyline necklace. It says, “Hey, I can rock my city around my neck because I know my way around.” Bam.

Here’s a warning for all those effortlessly stylish women who can put on a white T-shirt and jeans and one piece of jewelry and knock them dead—we’re coming for you. We found this amazing bracelet to add to our fashion arsenal.
Check out that sexy Stingray texture, the sterling silver with gold vermeil, and the bold cuff action. Sure, at $750 it’s half a mortgage payment, but who thinks of these things when the jewelry is this must-havey?

We are totally into small jewelry with a big impact, so these yellow-stone stud earrings by Kendra Scott are on our must-have list. Love the way they’re set—more to love, less to see! Plus, at $55, they are a tremendous deal!
What could be more fun than popping an outfit with a pair of hot-yellow earrings? They’re just attention-getting enough without stealing the show—perfect for jazzing up a late-winter wardrobe. Need. Want. Need.

We cannot say no to Chevrons, and this big, delish bag almost made us tinkle with joy. It’s high style yet low-key. Oh, to be this louche and chic!
Just imagine how cute you’ll look in spring when you tote this baby around town. Plus it’s a handmade item, so you’re getting a one-of-a-kind for a great price, with all the bells & whistles: large interior pockets, a key fob, and an adjustable strap! Need want need.
We’ve been hit by the traveling bug. We haven’t made reservations anywhere exotic just yet, but we’ve definitely gone to the bookstore multiple times to buy various travel guides and maps. We’ve even done the whole “spin the globe and pick a country” bit. Guess what we landed on? Thailand.
Before our much-anticipated, sure-to-happen visit to Thailand, we’re hitting up Thailand Junkie downtown to get a little culture (and cuteness). Featuring handmade clothing, accessories, and home décor imported from small family-owned businesses throughout Thailand, this eclectic boutique has all that we need to feel inspired.
Dangly nickel and bronze earrings, embroidered wallets and handbags, reclaimed furniture from wooden oxcarts, and natural, fallen wood makes this place just as fascinating as the real deal. We couldn’t leave without stocking up on some colorful beaded jewelry and a handbag made from the vintage hill-tribe fabrics of northern Thailand. We learned about all this from our travel guides, of course… and with a little help from the boutique owner.

Is there something in the water? Why, all of a sudden, are all of our married friends so damn fertile? We kid you not—we know three ladies who are preggo with twins. Time to go shopping for lots (and lots) of baby showers.
These glass baby bottles from Wee Go are phthalate- and PVC-free and eco-friendly. And we love the modern design and brightly colored silicon sleeves (to keep the bottle from breaking, of course, and making it easy to grip) that are perfect for tiny baby hands.
